Our Food Safety course is essential for anyone working in the hospitality or food industry. Since 1998, it has been a legal requirement for all businesses in this sector to have a Food Safety Management System based on the Principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Under current legislation, a 'food business' includes any undertaking, whether for profit or not, and whether public or private, that engages in various food-related activities, such as preparation, processing, manufacturing, packaging, storing, transportation, distribution, handling, or offering for sale or supply of foodstuffs.
Duration: Half day or full day (Level 1 or Level 1 & 2)
Certification: Upon successful completion of the Food Safety Course, participants will receive a North West Safety Training certificate demonstrating their compliance with food safety standards and their commitment to safe food handling practices.
